Symmetrical Cladding
with exposed fastening
The combination of high-quality natural stones with their outstanding physical properties and absolutely linear architecture opens up new design possibilities. For architects and planners this offers interesting possibilities to create something extraordinary.
The type of cladding
Cost-efficiency, smooth laying and unique aesthetics – these are the requirements of modern architecture against high insulated, ventilated façades. The symmetrical cladding is an innovative façade system developed by Rathscheck, which corresponds with these requirements and defines the natural slate façade completely new.
Owing to the low square meter weight the symmetrical cladding is ideal for façade design of big building bodies, where high cost-efficiency is essential.
Cramp technique
The natural slate stones will be suspended simply with stainless steel clips into an aluminium substructure. The system is construed in a manner, that thermal expansions will be absorbed. Any slate forms up to a size of 60 x 60 cm with only 1 cm thickness allow the perfect adjustment to the building geometry.
